School Location & Area

- Tubaran Central School is located at Sitio Tubaran, Mandulog, Iligan City. It has a total land area of 13,986 square meters.

History of the School

           Tubaran Central School is a hinterland school lying approximately in a 13,986 square meter lot, in the heart of Mandulog. The lot was donated by a half-American, the late Abraham Wade 1941.

          The first school building was a temporary shelter made of “sulirap”, bamboos and cogon grass. As enrolment increases reaching as high as 200%, more teachers were hired and new classrooms were built. The school was considered as Central School upon the creation of the new district. Norteast 1-b District in 2000 by SDS Tamano Pandapatan.

          The Tubaran National High School used to occupy the northern part of the school campus. It was in 2000, wherein it was vacated by them.

          The school has a wide playground which is ideal for sports and scouting activities. Almost every activity of the district is held in the school.

          After typhoon Sendong hit Iligan City, the school was one of the evacuation center of almost 68 families.
